Welcome to the CT Train App ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.
The App provides real-time train tracking, schedule information, an AI-powered train assistant, and trip planning for the Hartford Line rail service. The App uses publicly available data from CTtransit's GTFS and GTFS-Realtime feeds.
The App offers optional Sign in with Apple authentication. By creating an account, you agree to:
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Signed-in users may submit feedback through the App. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your feedback for the purpose of improving the App. Feedback is limited to 100 characters and is associated with your user ID. Do not include personal, sensitive, or confidential information in feedback submissions.
The Train Assistant feature uses Apple Foundation Models to process queries on-device. AI-generated responses are based on real-time transit data and may not always be accurate. Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical travel decisions. Always verify with official CTtransit sources.
Schedule and real-time data is provided by CTtransit and is delivered to you as-is. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any transit data displayed in the App. Always verify critical travel plans with official CTtransit sources.
This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to CTtransit, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, or any government agency. "Hartford Line" and "CTRail" are trademarks of their respective owners.
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad content is determined by Google and is not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The App may offer optional premium features via auto-renewing subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation are governed by Apple's policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed trains, incorrect schedule information, AI assistant responses, or service disruptions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
